WHY WE ARE HERE

Because the world we had imagined, the one
we had always counted on, is disappearing.
Because the Sun has become cancerous,
and the planet is getting hotter.
Because children are starving in the shadows
of yachts and economics summits.
Because there are already too many planes in the sky.
This is the manufactured world
you have come to codify and expedite.
We have come to tell you
there is something else you want to buy.
What we want, money no longer recognizes
like the vitality of nature, the integrity of work.
We dont want cheaper wood, we want living trees.
We don’t want engineered food, we want to see and smell
the food growing in our own neighborhoods.
We are here because a voice inside us,
a memory in our blood, tells us
you are not just a trade body, you are the blind tip
of a dark wave which has forgotten its source.
We are here to defend and honor
what is real, natural, human and basic
against this rising tide of greed.
We are here by the insistence of spirit and the authority of nature.
If you doubt for one minute the power of truth
or the primacy of nature
try not breathing for that length of time.
Now you know the pressure of our desire.
We are not here to tinker with your laws.
We are here to change you from the inside out.
This is not a political protest.
It is an uprising of the soul.

Towards a sustainable world
This anonymous plea born from the anguish of a moment and the experience of a lifetime, reflects the concern of many people who recognizes the enormity of the challenge and opportunity that stands before us at this time.The success of our efforts to build a sustainable future will define not only the immediate years ahead but generations to come. Our failure will lead irrevocably to the continued dominance of those who work with shortsighted and selfish aims and to our eventual destruction. Now is the time to move beyond the endless debates over issues of relative unimportance (tactics used to delay and distort), and towards the implementation of those measures for which all men and women of goodwill long, and upon which our survival depends. We, the peoples of the world, have reached the point where we can no longer wait for our leaders and our governments to tip the scales of the present delicate balance. Too much time has already elapsed, it is time for the people of the world, through the collective strength of an enlightened public opinion, to hold leaders accountable and to realize our vision for a better world.

Homo Signorum - Mennesket i Zodiaken
Stjernetegnenes syklus er representert i kroppen, fra start med Væren og hodet, og slutt med Fiskene og føttene. Mennesket er en manifestasjon av den himmelske orden, et vakkert og kraftfullt bilde å meditere på.
Alle tegnene står i refleks til sitt motsatte tegn, og om et tegn er utfordret, vil plager i motsatte tegn kunne vise seg.
Væren -
Hodet, kranie. Øyne. Tenner i overkjeven, og hake (delt med Tyr). Det motoriske sentere i hjernen, hvor planlegging, kontroll og gjennomføring av frivillige bevegelser gjøres. Knyttes til binyrene (adrenalin) og her finner vi forbindelsen til motsatt tegn, Vekten, som er knyttet til nyrene.
Tyren -
Ører, hals og nakke, underkjeve og tunge. Skjoldbruskkjertel og stoffskifte (Tyren holder fast ved det den liker). Sansesenterne i hjernen. Mandlene - en beskyttelse mot mikrobiell infeksjon - er delt med Skorpion, som er motsatt tegn.
Tvillingen -
Skuldre, armer, hender, fingre(delt med Jomfru og Merkur). Øvre del av lunger, innpust (det motsatte tegn, Skytten, er knyttet til utpust). Alle tuber i kroppen, og kapillærårene. Det perifere nervesystem - som sanser omverdenen og sender informasjon inn til sentralnervesystemet.
Krepsen -
Beskyttende hinner rundt hjernen, lunger og hjerteposen. Tannkjøttet. Ribbeinskassen. Brystene. Livmor når gravid(ellers er det Skorpion som hersker). Magesekken. Mellomgulvet - pustemuskelen - Nervus phrenicus (mellomgulvsnerven) - phren betyr sinn, sjel eller forstand. Solar plexus. Temperatursansefunksjonen i hypotalamus - Krepsen er et beskyttende og reaktivt tegn. Bukspyttkjertelen deles med Jomfru. Lymfesystemet deles med Fisk, Krepsen har herskerskap i øvre del (torso).
Løve -
Hjertet. Baksiden av hjertet. Ryggrad og myelinen rundt ryggradsnerven, De store musklene i overkroppen som holder oss oppreist. Galleblære (delt med Steinbukk, her kommer første stråle inn for de som er kjent med den). Underarmene og håndledd deles med Tvilling.
Jomfru -
Bukspyttkjertelen. Milten - renser blodet. Leveren (delt med Jupiter, Løve og Kreps) - organet som sortere og organiserer - et svært kraftfull organ - Jomfruen er ofte robust, har god helse og arbeidskapasitet. Tynntarm og først del av tykktarm. Immunforsvar er delt med Fisk. Det sympatiske nervesystem - Jomfruen er observant og hjelpsom.
Vekten -
Nyrene - balanse mellom syre/base, salt og væske. Balansesansen. Eggstokkene. Korsryggen. Selve rumpen blir av og til tilegnet Vekten, sammen med Skorpion og Skytte (musklene).
Skorpion -
Ekskresjonsorganer - styrt av Mars. Tykktarm, endetarm og anus. Blære og urinrør. Kjønnsorganer, livmorhals. Svettekjertler. Korsbein og halebein er delt med Skytt. Skorpionen hersker over nesa - det mest intime sanseorganet, her ser vi refleks til Tyren.
Skytten -
Hofter - det største leddet i kroppen - kan energetisk knyttes til å ta store valg, å «gå for det». Lår og lårbein. Arteriell sirkulasjon - blod ut i kroppen. Lavere ryggnerver, som isjias. Koordinasjonsprosessen i nervesystemet - sender signaler fra sentralnervesystem til organer. Det frivillige muskelsystem (delt med Mars og Væren).
Steinbukk -
Knær, kneskål. Huden. Skjelett (delt med Saturn - som er astringent - trekker oss sammen og gir oss struktur). Ledd, leddbånd og sener.
Vannmann -
Legger, ankler. Venøs sirkulasjon (delt med Venus) - blod tilbake til hjerte og lunger for oksygenering. Således knyttet til blodkvalitet. Det lite kjente elektriske system i kroppen, spasmer, kramper og rykninger. Noen ganger knyttet til netthinnen i øyet - som gir fargesyn, nyanser og evne til å skjelne ting detaljert. Ryggmargen (nervene i ryggsøylen) og opp i hjernen - her ser vi forbindelse til Løve.
Fiskene -
Føtter og tær. Lymfesystemet (delt med Kreps) hovedsakelig i beina. Det parasympatiske nervesystem - hvile og søvn. Overnaturlige årsaker til sykdom, som ved f.eks schizofreni. Fascia - bindevevet i kroppen. Blindtarmen. Duodenum - tolvfingertarmen - med sine tarmtotter har denne en enorm overflate - skiller ut arkaisk slim som beskytter mot det sure tarminnholdet - påvirker også produksjon av hormoner som frigjør galle og bukspytt. Her ser vi igjen refleks til Jomfru. Styrer også cellulær hydrasjon.
Planeter man har i tegnene vil tilføre energi til gitte kroppsdel, på godt og vondt. I tillegg vil planetene alltid bevege seg gjennom zodiaken og berøre oss på forskjellig vis gjennom aspekter til det personlige horoskopet. Med bevissthet kan man forebygge og jobbe med energiene på en spennende og konstruktiv måte :-D

Utdrag fra introdukjsonsteksten i Soul Centered Astrology av Alan Oken
Ved Herkules Astrologiskole lærer vi om hvordan tegnene både utvikler seg og stadig fungerer på tre nivåer; det personlige, det sjelelige og det åndelige. Disse korresponderer til treenigheten som vi kjenner i kristen terminologi; Den Hellige Ånd, Sønnen, og Faderen.
Hovedsakelig opererer vi mennesker innenfor det personlige uttrykket av tengene, men strekker oss etter det sjelelige. Sjelen blir også et større tema etterhvert som vi vokser og modner som individer i hvert enkelt liv.
Alan Oken beskriver disse to, det personlige og det sjelelige i hvert tegn, i den ovennevnte bok. Jeg synes mye av introduksjonsteksten var bra, og ønsker å dele med andre søkere og tenkere. Han beskriver blant annet hvordan individuell kreativitet og det å ta til seg sin rettmessige kraft og sitt personlige ansvar er tema for den kommende epoken i menneskets historie og evolusjon; Vannmannens tidsalder.
Jeg setter stor pris på dialog, send meg gjerne dine tanker etter å ha lest. For meg var disse ordene medisin.

" … In the final analysis, the truth of any study is only relative to the voice of one´s own inner truth; finding that voice coincides with walking the Path.
To reveal our own personal truth, we must prepare our personality to receive the Presence of the Soul. Only then may we say: «What I seek to present through my life I identify, experience, and take responsibility for as the truth for me.» Without this Presence as a central focus and synthesizing essence of our life, our existence tends towards an intellectual morass of conjectures and opinions. This is often accompanied by a series of partially fulfilled or frustrated desires, as well as an alternating current of elation and depression, depending on our physical appearance or the state of our material possessions. It is only through attunement and alignment with the Soul that consistent approach to a life of endless inconsistencies is made possible…

Until a fairly advanced state of personal evolution is reached, in which there is a fusion between the lower and the Higher selves, everything about the personality is either inherited (biological karma), or created and assumed temporarily (factors of response to social conditioning). The exception to this is the eternal and immortal Life Principle, which animates and vivifies all existence… (p 16-17)
.. Thus the more we are attached to the personality, the more we are materially oriented, in and of the Earth. As the Soul becomes an ever-increasing Presence in our lives, we begin to become more Light-oriented. The struggle to harmonize the two is an essential element of the Path of the Middle Way - the Way of the Disciple.
When the Souls Presence enters and is experienced through the physical body, a very noticeable change in our physical energies occurs. We appear to radiate. This radiance is felt and experienced by those sensitive enough to perceive it as warmth - a loving essence quite different from the heat of natural vitality which emanates from a gregarious and exuberant personality. Such a Soul-realized person emanates a distinct physical energy which is not intrusive into the space of others, but nevertheless penetrates them and most often uplifts them. One could say that such an individual has a healing quality about him or her, as well as a quiet strength of purpose…(p 20)
.. One of the greatest strengths of a psychologically oriented, personality-centered astrology is that it reveals which aspects of the lower self needs integration.. (p 23)
.. Many people stop growing at the point of the integration and individuation of the lesser ego, without the attunement to the Higher Self, and this is very dangerous. At this point, the lower self is infused with the sensation (limited and temporal as it may be) of its uniqueness and separateness. When they reach this stage, people may seek to (e)go out in life and «push buttons» - exert their sense of personal power. It is often when such «buttons» are pushed back by the Law of Cause and Effect (karma) that the astrologer sees individuals for counseling and consultation! Such an integrated, non attuned ego can create an even greater vortex of negative energy than the kind created by an unintegrated ego in chaos. The integrated ego, conscious of itself but unconscious of the greater Law and greater expression of the cohesive power of Love, can consciously or unconsciously focus a magnetic vortex which inverts creative harmony. Such an ego strives to pervert and subvert universal energies to the bidding of personal physical aims, thoughts, and desires. The stronger the ego in question, the greater the negative vortex, and more important, the greater the urge to create the universe in its own limited and exclusive image.
All too often during the history of humanity, this has resulted in the attempt to dominate the will, intelligence, and emotions of others. This is the intrinsic nature and structure of evil. Weaker and less developed egos at this stage may be relatively harmless to others. Their chief difficulty is the loneliness and desperation they engender in themselves by their separatist thoughts and feelings.» (p 23-24)
… We must work to «watch our movie» (after all, whether consciously or unconsciously, we are writing and producing the script!) and not just be in the film. The development and ability to witness ourselves (not to be confused with judging ourselves) is a very important step in actualizing our Souls potential for its externalization in the outer world…
… In her monumental work, The Secret Doctrine, H. P. Blavatsky speaks about a structure within consciousness called «the-ring-pass-me-not».
The «ring-pass-me-not» refers to the limit of the field of activity of any given organism - from an amoeba to the greatest galaxies - in terms of the consciousness of that organism… Each human being has his or hers personal «ring-pass-me-not». You may confront this quite easily when certain life circumstances bring you to a point of crisis in which you say: «Beyond this, I cannot love anymore. This is my ultimate point of giving.» Then you are forced either into a situation of destruction and decomposition, or you are forced to widen your ability to love. This may still require the breakup of the form of the situation which focused this crisis, yet essentially, by expanding your ability to love in a given moment, you have extended your consciousness and grown. Consciousness is love and love is consciousness. Divinity is love in action and consciousness is the expression of that Love.

One of the most important movements in the evolution of human consciousness in the present time is the requirement (and the impulse) that each individual be responsible for the direction of his or her own spiritual growth and development. This sense of personal responsibility, as expressed in the Age of Aquarius, is very different from the nature of personal and collective spiritual unfoldment during the past World Age. In the Age of Pisces, especially as it manifested in the Western world, we were dominated by a number of orthodox theologies administered by patriarchal authoritarianism. The majority of these theologies have been based upon a theory of transcendental dualism. What this means is that the sexes have been treated unequal in nature, leading to a tremendous suppression of the feminine. Moreover, this dualism has led to a great division in the minds of most people between the material and the spiritual. It has also given rise to an erroneous and guilt-ridden concept of sin, based on the assumption that humanity and Divinity are separate in nature, as well as in manifestation. The degree of pain and social oppression which has arisen from such a socially sanctioned duality has been incredible in its scope. But pain will no longer be the vehicle of enlightenment and mystical revelation in the New Age!» (p 40-41)
… One reason why so much power has erroneously fallen into so few hands is that many people still believe in a world of doom and gloom. This world stimulates fear and provokes guilt and hysterical emotionalism. Indeed, we have seen such antics even among many so-called New Age groups. These are just «Old Age» groups in New Age clothing! …
… The ability, and even the concept of the freedom to empower oneself to direct the course of one’s spiritual life, is completely contrary to human history up to present time. If we examine the course of Western civilization for the past two thousand years (effectively, the Age of Pisces), we see that the vast majority of people have been dominated by two groups: a landowning aristocracy and a landowning church… (p 43)
… It is no wonder that part of our legacy as we enter the New Age is that so many people feel helpless financially, as well as spiritually. The elimination of poverty consciousness, both from a material and spiritual level, is certainly an aspiration which we must plant an implement collectively at this time in our history.
All abundance comes from the Source. This Source is structured in mind and expressed through love; that is, through the Law of Attraction. The study of a more metaphysical astrology can help us to understand the cycles of the expression of this Source, as well as Its manifestations in our lives. The more we understand the Laws and Principles underlying such manifestations (and their specific applications in the New Age), the more we may attune ourselves to identifying with that one Source as our Self, and thus more consciously cooperate with Its cycles of unfoldment. As the number of Self-realized men and women of goodwill increase, humanity as a whole will progress to its natural state of abundance on all levels.
The above is a long range project. In fact, I believe it to be one of the goals of the Aquarian Age - to prepare the world for the Messianic Age of Capricorn, two thousand years hence. Meanwhile, we shall be confronted by our own and other peoples struggles to individualize their own centers of personal will in order to establish a sense of self-empowerment. This amounts to a concerted effort at finding and concentrating upon one’s individual source of creativity…… (p 44) "
